Salve rrKnights!
As the next RR update contains the first Alpha version of our ComfyUI connection, I want to start a thread to discuss a good implementation.
What do you expect from a RR<->ComfyUI connection?
So far I think that we do not need multiple threads about ComfyUI in this tavern.
I suggest we simply use a bold title before a section to assign it to a topic?
Supported OS:
Do you use CompfyUI? Which OS do you use?
So far we work on Windows only as this is the OS of our alpha testers.
ComfyUI Version Control:
(On Windows) RR uses its default Shared Executable feature.
With CompfyUI Desktop: RR uses the Desktop version, not the core.
As each CompfyUI Desktop installer version contains a fixed ComfyUI core version. (If you do not update)
CompfyUI Portable: RR uses the core version.
Note that the portable installer always downloads the latest ComfyUI Core.
And the core source can change any time a day, the core version changes every few days.
Model Files:
Model files are huge.
On one site it is recommended to have all files on the local drive as it is slow to use them over the network.
On the other site you might have collected 200GB (or more?) of model files during your work.
And if RR syncs them onto each machine, you need that much space on each machine.
What are your thoughts/experiences on this topic?
regards,
