Hi,
I've run into an issue.
My studio is running 2 different versions of nuke. Nuke 12 has permanent licenses and 16 has individual licenses. We have different jobs using different versions of nuke.
Im trying to set up the licenses so that the different versions use the appropriate amount of licenses.

Is this correct or should i be creating a whole new Nuke Application

Thanks

Hi

Yes, that looks right.

To verify the settings while rendering, please see rrControl, tab Global.

Thanks Holger.

Unfortunately it doesnt seem to be doing what im expecting. It still seems to try to have more than the 2 licenses for the Nuke 16 job

Im not sure if i have to do them the other way around?

Hi

Hmm, it uses the global Nuke counter and not the one specific for the version.

I see two possible reasons:

  1. May be an untested bug as we might have tested either with or without version.
  2. If the job was submitted before the license count change, the rrServer might have the old setting in cache.

a)

Start rrConfig:

Please select the version lines in Nuke and delete them with the ”Delete Plugin” button.

Once both are deleted, check the “unlimited” for Nuke.

Then use the split version button to add both versions again.

b) use rrServerWatch to send a restart command to the rrServer.

Hi

Ok, on further testing the bug is more complex.
I can send you a new rrServer version 9.1.26 tomorrow if you can update.
