Hi
Client Limitation:
The machine running the rrServer does NOT limit the number of rrClients.
The machine hosting your RR application files limits the number of rrClients.
They may not be the same machine.
There are many companies using a fileserver for project data + RR network folder
and a Windows 10/11 machine to run the rrServer.
Please see this image:

Only 1 rrServer:
> every time i try to run the batch file, it starts, but then in the middle of the process, it disappears
If you run it in a cmd prompt (terminal that does not close) or if you check the app log file RR/sub/log,
then you can see that it complains that this is not the rrServer machine.
Reinstall:
>where i installed everything from scratch
The rrServer name is stored in the file RR/sub/cfg_global/globalconfig.ini.
If you install it from scratch ( into an empty folder ), it should work.
Or if you delete the globalconfig.ini file (Make sure that the other rrServer is not running any more).
In addition, there is a workaround:
Please start rrConfig on the new rrServer machine.
Ppen the license tab.
Press and hold the key „Alt“ and click on the label „Server Mac“.
It will ask you if you want to change the globalconfig.ini permanentely.
