Regarding your inquiry below on August 28 to our Tome Tohoku Headquarters,
I am so sorry that we could not reply you earlier.
As I believe you may be able to get various information on the Tohoku situation
via internet and media, I take your meaning of inquiry as wanting the information
on how to actually join the volunteer activity.
I will attach you here our application form for non-Japanese volunteers who wish
to join in RQ disaster relief activities. Please read it carefully and return it to
us with the necessary information, if you wish to participate.
I regret to say that we are a bit behind our schedule on the internalization of the
website, so that we can only offer you the front page in English at present, of
which information also a bit behind-the-date and not much practically useful.

In the meantime, I’d recommend you to have a look at this journal series written by a
Korean student who had participated in RQ activity for 10 days. It is written in English.
I am sure you have a lot to sympathize with him, and also be able to get a feel on what
RQ activities are like.

After you fill in the application form and return it to us, we can provide you with more
practical information as the transportation access, things you need to bring, etc.
