Dear Liberty Activist,
Call
(202) 224-3121! Click here to tell your Senators to reject the continuing resolution which surrenders the Internet!
The continuing resolution that unfortunately surrenders U.S. oversight of the Internet's domain name system has failed on the floor. Twice. First, it failed 45 to 55. Then, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell put it up for another vote. Then it failed 40
to 59. McConnell is losing support. That means we need to keep the pressure on to persuade the Senate not to give over the Internet to multinational corporations and foreign powers to dominate Internet governance in an unaccountable monopoly that one day will
censor content, leaving nothing the U.S. can do about it.
It is time that Republicans unite around this issue which has united their party, and not let Democrats and corporatists win every battle in Washington, D.C. Call
(202) 224-3121! The continuing resolution needs to go back to the drawing board.
Democrats are asking for various add-ons. That creates an opportunity to stop the Internet giveaway. But Republican leaders need to cut a deal. Otherwise, a vote for the continuing resolution is a vote to surrender the Internet. We will rue the day we gave
this away.
Let's keep fighting! Let's get back on Rally Congress and tell your Senators that you reject any continuing resolution that does not block the Internet surrender! Call
(202) 224-3121!
This is not over yet. But you need to pick up the phone now and call your representatives and senators: Call
(202) 224-3121!
Never surrender!
For Liberty,
