I am looking for a super 8mm projector that is easy to modify? Joe mentions to stay away from autoload and dual gate if possible. So, can anyone suggest a 'simple' super 8 projector?

Thanks!

My projector is an ELMO GP (dual 8mm/ S8 and autoload) see pictures on my project.https://github.com/dgalland/yart/blob/master/yart.md
There is no problem choosing a dual and autoload projector.
 The important points are:
- Have enough room for the camera and the lamp, in a direct or reverse installation.
- Have an access to the axis of the mechanism to mount the pulley connected to the motor and the trigger.

I made my first scanner out of Bell & Howell filmosound 16mm projector and now I´m working on 8mm capture device which happens to be Chinon IQ 3000L..and they both seem to have same problem, that is, hard to insert the film (or take it out before scan finishes) without manually rotating film transfer mechanism. Well, I know that there´s a kind of ff and rewind function in the software but if it gets jammed or something like that, it has to be removed manually in the middle of the scan process. I have also  Elmo side loading projector, but I won´t hack it because I need it to extract sound out of my films, otherwise I would at least try to make it as a scanner.
