Hi all:

Once we have captured the images of our Super8 film, we find ourselves
with a folder that for a 15 m film, contains approximately 3600 images.

Since these are very old movies (mine are over 40 years old), possibly
the colors are degraded and maybe even with some color cast.

Fortunately, thanks to modern digital technology, we can improve the color of
our images and eliminate the dominant color.

We all know the existence of software that allows us to carry out this work, such as
example Avisynth or Kdenlive, however I have decided to follow the same path we have
undertaken with the capture, that is, if we capture the film frame by frame, I will
restore color photo by photo.

For this I am going to use GIMP, the prestigious image processing software.

To this end I have written a script-fu that automates the task.

The RestoreColorBatch.scm file contains the script and the Readme.txt file contains the
installation and use instructions, in case someone wants to try it.

From reading the Readme.txt file, the procedure may appear to be complicated
and difficult, but, in reality, it is very simple and fast to use.

Regards.
