Hey everybody,

I'm wrapping up work on RPG Table 1.2 and I'm looking to expand my group of beta testers a bit. What are the benefits of being a beta tester? Check out the new stuff before anyone else! Any drawbacks? Well, you'll want to back up your data so that in case a gremlin bug eats your data, you don't lose your minis collection and get mad at me. You'll also need to write some emails.

My ideal beta tester is willing to try out new builds shortly after they were released and write emails describing problems they run into. They'd also be willing to verify bug fixes in new builds for problems they'd reported.

So are you still interested? If so, send me an email at in...@codechemistry.com and let me know. I don't want to expand the beta too huge just yet, so if you don't get in, don't worry! There'll be more opportunities in the future.

I'm planning on releasing a new beta tonight or tomorrow.

If you have any general questions, go ahead and reply to the list so that everyone can benefit from the question. Thanks everyone!

Been playing around with the Beta for a few hours and it seems really
buttoned up. Very nice work. Looking forward to future releases as
this product rocks!

Thanks! I think 1.2 is getting pretty close barring any last minute
issues people find.

Could you tell us more about what is new in 1.2? Any chance to be able
to save and import parts for your maps?

And export/import minis, so we can exchange between us?

The main new feature of RPG Table 1.2 is the ability to display name labels on minis. You can also display the keywords if you want and it will cycle through them. I've found it really helps keep track of what is going on in battles.

I'm not sure if google groups allows screenshots, but I'll give it a shot. Here's one I took a while back that shows the basic look of it.
