If you hold down the option key while scrolling up and down, you will zoom in and out. Originally, during the early 1.0 beta days, I had zooming as the default behavior for scrolling, but a few of my beta testers were adamant that the default be scrolling. If you have a trackpad, you can also use the pinch gesture to zoom in and out.

This is a fairly commonly requested feature and something I'd for sure like to do.

If I understand this correctly, it sounds like this could be
accomplished with custom palettes (like OmniGraffle). You could have
props for mountainous environments, towns, forests, dungeons, or
custom sets you build and save yourself.
