It would be nice to have a plugin or something that allows you to
create and edit sprites and tilesets in-program, rather than having to
import an image.

There are a hundred image editing programs available to download that
are better than anything I could possibly shoe horn into RPGds. RPGds
follows the Linux/Unix programing design, a program should do one thing
and do it right, let other programs that are designed to perform other
tasks, do those.

I suggest Pixel (paid), or KolourPaint (free)

(In addition) Your email title doesnt quite make sense. How many HTML
WYSIWYG editors have built in paint apps? Or for that matter almost any
other WYSIWYG editor? Some poorly designed indie apps will try to
include features like this, but the best they can do, is not even half
as good as the worst paint app you can download, so its a lot of effort
for a half assed feature.

Also (in response to your first email) RPGds is programed and designed
entirely in Linux, its not just a port, its the primary development
platform.

I did notice that newer distros have something different with their
video drivers or xorg or something where RPGds crashes on startup
because of wxWidgets double buffer flag, I have fixed this and will have
a new build soon, but this isnt the issue you are facing.
