I'm sure you're aware of this, but I had to make sure it wasn't just a
mistake on my part: If I try to start a project in a different
directory than the default, it immediately closes/crashes the editor
window, with no apparent errors being displayed. So, is this a bug to
be fixed or am I just doing something horribly wrong? @_@;

...nevermind... again... it was because I was trying to have RPGds
start a project into a directory that doesn't exist yet, assuming it
would create such a directory. All's well now, but that might be a
handy feature to have, someday. :D

What OS?  Are you using the latest version of rpgds?

I'm using RPGds 1.0.5, which is the latest shown on indiedevs, and am
running Linux Mint 9 (Isadora) 64bit on an AMD64 processor (which has
given me no other problems thus far, though I haven't used the map
editor since I was on Windows 7). As I've said, though, creating the
directory before trying to put a project there works just fine, which
would be an acceptable workaround, at least, until another solution
can be worked on. I, at least, wouldn't make this a big priority if
anything else is in need of work.

I will look into this. It should work as I have used it to create its
own project directory (in multiple places) hundreds of times if not
more. I will add this to my bug list.

If you make something that any idiot can use, only idiots will use it.
