blog post not showing up on RPGbloggers

Hi all,

I am not sure who this goes to now but I posted this morning, I can
see my post on my feed but it did not show up like it normally does.

My blog is at http://worldofalidor.com/4th-ed/ my post was Tomb of
Horrors Catches the Thief posted 9 hours ago.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can send these sorts of things straight to me until I get things
straightened out.

This looks like it's a common problem, so I want to say a couple words
about it.

Without going into technical details, the software that's driving the
site just wasn't meant to scale like this. Wordpress isn't the
culprit, it's the plugin that pulls in the feeds. It probably works
great for cases where you are syndicating 5-50 feeds, but it works
less great when you're polling over 200.

Fixing this is a somewhat manual process. Having looked at how the
plugin works, I can't see any easy way to jury rig it, which means
that we're kinda stuck with it for now. What I ask is that if a post
doesn't show up right away, please give it a couple hours. If it
doesn't show in a couple hours, send me an email and I'll force an
update (like I just did).

Addressing this problem is pretty much top of my list.

--Thank you that worked. I think this is maybe the second time in a
year that this has happened to me which is actually far better
performance than some of my earlier web-hosts, so whatever is working
in the background is doing a pretty good job.
