Phil and I have been talking, and we haven't nearly received the response we were hoping for on the Don't Feed the Gamers weekly wrap-up of featured posts. Not only were the only comments we were getting "thanks for linking to me", but the viewership stats were pretty low too. So until we can figure out a better way to display them more prominently, we won't be doing those posts anymore. We will still be featuring posts, of course.

That's a shame! But I'm sure you guys will figure out a solid way to
show some highlighted items.

Thanks,

Zachary

Can I just add that maybe it might get a better response if you generally comment on each of those posts that you have featured. Maybe spark a discussion or two along the way for those thought provoking posts as well.

I know it's extra work but I think it gives a better sense of purpose for the feature and the featured posts.

While I do share your thoughts behind this Questing, the amount of work behind this is significant.

However this is duly noted and will be considered when Dave and I work on how to re-instate this.

Thanks!

Aww, that's a shame. I always look forward to those "big collection of
links" posts, especially given how busy I've been lately. Still, I can
understand. I hope you find a good way to implement it in the future!
By the way, I rather liked the name, so at least keep that ;)
