A new version of RPG Ambience has been released. Head over to the site in order to use it. (If something is not working, try refreshing the page.)

The new version introduces a couple of new features, including:
  • The player can now be opened in a separate window.
  • There is a visual playback interface (under the Playback tab) that can be used to start and stop scenes using the mouse.
  • It is now possible to crossfade between scenes (as requested by gene1wood).
  • The status of media being downloaded is indicated by progress bars.
Apart from this, the new version includes many bugfixes and tweaks.

For developers: Much of the code has been cleaned up and refactored. Most notably, the storage backend has been decoupled from the library logic, and the existing Google Drive storage backend uses promises to make the asynchronous code more manageable.

If the new version is not working for you, or if any of your adventures have been lost or damaged, post a message here, send an email, or create an issue.

HI.  I have loaded up a png image and set up a scene. When I press the play button it shows up in the mini screen, but when I go to a separate window it just shows black.  Full screen is the same. Using Chrome.
