Dear Dr van Hees,

I am trying to use the cut points for GENEActiv wrist-worn devices recording at 100Hz from Dillon et al. (2016). My problem is that they have used SVMgs in 15 second epochs, and I am unsure how to apply this to the GGIR script.

I have tried to follow the guidance in the vignettes, but I am struggling a little to understand how to do this.

Many thanks for your time in advance.

Kind regards,

Karl

Hi Karl,

I guess you can do it as follows:

Use GGIR arguments:
do.enmoa = TRUE, do.enmo = FALSE, acc.metric = "ENMOa"

because their equations looks like ENMOa without summing per minute

Next, calculate your cutpoints as: ((CutPointFromPaper_in_gmins/(30 * 15)) * 1000

I am in the process of updating the vignette for this as I see it is not clear.

Let me know if the new values look more plausible.

Kind regards,
Vincent
