Help challenge the UID in the Supreme Court

दोस्तों, 

1 अप्रैल 2015 से 300 जिलों में नरेगा मजदूरों की मजदूरी का भुगतान "DBT Platform", यानी UID (आधार) के ज़रिये किया जायेगा (इस ईमेल में संलग्न - अटैच्ड - ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय का सर्कुलर देखें)| नरेगा की मजदूरी पाने के लिए आधार को अनिवार्य कर दिया जायेगा| यह माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायलय के सितम्बर 2013 और मार्च 2014 के आदेशों का सीधा-सीधा उल्लंघन है (आदेश भी संलग्न हैं)| यह आदेश साफ़ शब्दों में कहते हैं की "कोई व्यक्ति आधार न होने की वजह से किसी भी सुविधा से वंछित नहीं किया जा सकता, अगर वो उस सुविधा का पात्र है"| 

बिना आधार नंबर के नरेगा मजदूरों से काम का अधिकार छिन जायेगा| जिन मजदूरों के पास आधार नंबर है, उनको भी 1 अप्रैल से परेशानी होगी, क्योंकि इस आदेश से नरेगा के काम में कई अडचनें आएँगी| 

आप इस आदेश से लड़ने में मदद कर सकते हैं. नरेगा मजदूरों के वक्तव्य या निवेदन (statement) इकठ्ठा करने की कोशिश करें और उन्हें roz...@gmail.com पर भेजें. यह वक्तव्य सर्वोच्च न्यायलय को एक साधारण चिट्ठी के रूप में हो सकते हैं.

From 1 April 2015, UID will be compulsory for NREGA workers in 300 districts as all NREGA wage payments will be routed through the DBT platform (see attached MoRD circular). This is a violation of Supreme Court orders dated September 2013 and March 2014 (also attached), which clearly state that “no person shall be deprived of any service for want of Aadhaar number in case he/she is otherwise eligible/entitled”.

NREGA workers without a UID will effectively be deprived of their right to work from 1 April. Even those with a UID are likely to be affected by all the disruptions that are bound to be created by this top-down order.

You can help to challenge this order in the Supreme Court by collecting statements of affected NREGA workers and sending them to roz...@gmail.com. The statements can take the form of a simple letter to the Supreme Court.
