Police Verification of Tenants

Hi,

The police of the city of Pimpri Chinchwad have made it mandatory for house and flat owners to register names of tenants with the nearest police station. The step has been taken after it was found that the accused in the 2012 JM Road blasts had rented a place in Kasarwadi.

 

If house owners fail to provide tenant information to police, legal action could be initiated against them, mentioned a report in The Times of India.

http://www.tenantreg.in/ site referred in the above times of india news report doesn't have "Dehu Road Police station" entry in the drop down so we could not register our society there. Unless we don't register our society we can't add tenant information ONLINE as per news report.

Another alternative is to download police verification form,fill it and sign it manually and get it stamped from Dehu Road police station. We have attached Tenant information form with this e-mail. You can use this or if police insists, can take a form from them :).

It is observed that many members who have rented out their flats have not submitted Rent Agreement copy and Police verification forms with H Wing committee.

Please ensure that you submit these documents with wing committee by 21st Feb. 2015. This is very important and urgent.

We will initiate an action against those who failed to comply with this.

Hi,

This topic was discussed again in yesterday's committee meeting. It was decided that, those owners who fail to submit Rent Agreement and Police Verification forms by 21st Feb, H wing committee will submit a letter with Police Station in a week's time with name of owners and flat numbers indicating that, committee has not received these documents and committee will not be responsible if any undesired legal issue or otherwise takes place in these flats.

My flat rent agreement registration being arranged on 21st Feb 2015. Hence after this only I will submit varification formalities & inform/produce docs to our society.

Hello ,

In response to earlier emails, we have received rent agreement copy and police verification form from 2 owners only (H-601 and H-902) so far. 

We are submitting a letter to Dehu Road Police station with owner names those who have failed to submit the above said documents in a day or two. Letter clearly indicates, that in case of any legal issues (where police needs to be involved) related to these flats, society won't be responsible and owners will carry the responsibility and should face subsequent circumstances.

As informed in my earlier mail Registration done on 21st Feb 2015,

but Mr Kulkarni (tenont) is out of station & he will be available in this week.

Pls consider extention till that period to do Police varification.
