I did my M.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering from VIT University, Vellore (2014 Pass Out).

I have project experience of about 1 year 2 months.

I have done my M.Tech project for 10 months (full time) at CMTI, Bangalore.

Project Title: Development of Copper/CNT composites using laser-sintering process (Additive manufacturing technology – 3D Printing).

During the course of project, I gained adequate knowledge in procurement of materials, designed and fabricated a test rig to measure thermal conductivity, Composite materials, Additive manufacturing (3D Printing).

Software packages used during the project: NX 7.5, Catia V5 R21, Magics, EOS PSW, MS Office.

During my BE, I had done two projects. One at BOSCH, Bangalore (2.5 months) and the other at BEL, Bangalore (1.5 months - full time).

At BOSCH, Project Title: Improvement of First Pass Yield in PF Pumps.

Adopted shain in technique to find the defective part in the pump and made minor design changes in the plunger to rectify the defect in the delivery of the pump.

Software packages used during the project: AutoCAD 2008, MS Office.

At BEL, Project Title: Design and Fabrication of Fixture for Support of RRF Project.

Designed and fabricated a fixture to increase the productivity by reducing the setting time.

Software packages used during the project: Solidworks, MS Office.

In my vacation after 6^th Semester in my BE, I have done internship at Guhring India PVT LTD (1 month) German based tool manufacturing company. I was deputed to various departments of the company, such as design, process planning and production, thus gained adequate knowledge on design, process planning and manufacturing of tools.

Software packages used during the Internship: AutoCAD 2010, CAP, MS Office.
