🇬🇧 Hi everyone,

Rowtine 1.4.0 is now available on the Play Store. Here is what's new:

• Stitch techniques memo: basic and common knitting and crochet techniques (cast-ons, bind-offs, stitches). You'll find it in the Tools and in the reader's cheat sheet, and you can pick the stitches to keep at hand for each pattern.
• Current row in a notification while you follow a pattern: check off the row, count repeats with the minus and plus buttons, chart reminder, all visible on the lock screen without opening the app. On by default, can be turned off in Settings ("Current row in notifications").
• The screen stays on while you follow a pattern. On by default, can be turned off in Settings ("Keep the screen on while tracking").
• Reader: tapping the left third of a step card checks it off and the right two-thirds enable you to fix a row.
• Share badge: each yarn's colorway, the project's fibres above the calendar, and a sharper image.
• Stash: each yarn card shows the total yardage of the lot.
• The guide has been updated.

The update comes automatically, or from Rowtine's page on the Play Store. Your feedback matters, especially on the current-row notification: tell me what works and what doesn't.

La version 1.4.0 de Rowtine est disponible sur le Play Store. Voici ce qui change :

• Mémo des techniques de points : les points et techniques de base et courants, en tricot comme en crochet (montages, rabattages, points). On le trouve dans les Outils et dans l'aide-mémoire du lecteur, et on peut choisir les points à garder sous la main pour chaque patron.
• Le rang en cours dans une notification pendant le suivi : cocher le rang, compter les répétitions avec les boutons moins et plus, rappel du diagramme, le tout visible sur l'écran de verrouillage, sans ouvrir l'app. Activé par défaut, désactivable dans les Réglages (« Rang en cours dans les notifications »).
• L'écran reste allumé pendant le suivi. Activé par défaut, désactivable dans les Réglages (« Garder l'écran allumé pendant le suivi »).
• Lecteur : toucher le tiers gauche d'une carte d'étape la coche. Les deux-tiers à droite permettent de corriger le rang.
• Badge de partage : le coloris de chaque laine, les matières de l'ouvrage au-dessus du calendrier, et une image plus nette.
• Stock : chaque carte de laine affiche le métrage total du lot.
• Le guide a été mis à jour.

La mise à jour arrive automatiquement, ou depuis la page Rowtine du Play Store. Vos retours sont précieux, en particulier sur la notification du rang en cours : dites-moi ce qui marche et ce qui coince.

On some phones, Android may stop apps running in the background to save battery. If this happens with Rowtine, notifications might not show up as expected.

I'm currently working on a fix to make notifications more reliable, even on devices with aggressive battery management. Thanks for your patience and feedback!

Sur certains téléphones, Android peut arrêter les applications qui tournent en arrière-plan pour économiser la batterie. Si cela se produit avec Rowtine, les notifications peuvent ne pas s'afficher correctement.

Je travaille actuellement sur une solution pour rendre les notifications plus fiables, même sur les appareils qui appliquent une gestion agressive de la batterie. Merci pour votre patience et vos retours !
