Hi,

import/export does not help when doing a factory reset on the smartphone/tablet.

Please add a backup to file/restore from file option.

Thanks,

Renne

It does. If you check `retained` checkbox, config will remain on broker and you cen subscribe to the topic and receive saved config.

In addition to saving the setting on the broker, you can export the setting to a computer:
Subscribe to the (default) metrics/exchange topic from your computer, then use the application's Double-Arrow button  to publish. Copy the published topic's text payload (starting with [{" and ending with }] ) and paste/save it to a text file.
To restore: Use the application's Double-Arrow button to subscribe to the (default) metrics/exchange topic then publish from your computer with single quotes around the saved text file contents.
