I just closed one of Vlad's pull requests that introduces GCD-based tile loading for a smoother experience - Justin raised the rather good issue about this throwing out iOS 3 compatibility.
What do you guys think? iOS 3's getting pretty old now, and "officially" supporting it means both holding us back a bit and also dramatically extends the support-load, as it were.
Does anyone still have many customers who are on iOS 3?
It is, of course, still possible to conditionally use Vlad's queue stuff, and a relatively easy adjustment, but now's a good a time as any to have the discussion, I suppose.
