They had their lake boating rules changed to,  300 feet from shore or structures. 
Currently it is 200 feet.
Let's talk this up with the Board to try and get this done for The Round Lakes.
They would need to contact the DNR and County.

Do you know if this applies to new builds only?  

It would also be very valuable to the future of the lake and lakeshore if the 35 ft viewing corridor per 100 ft of shoreline was enforced.  Clear cutting is becoming all to prevalent.
