In the last part of this series we looked at progression systems that
targeted groups of 18 numbers and groups of 12 numbers. This time
around we are going to look at smaller groups of numbers. You can of
course cover any amount of numbers you like but I like to keep things
straightforward and work with numbers or groups that are divisible
into the total amount of numbers (36) ignoring the zero. Therefore the
next obvious progression for us is 9 numbers; 9 is a quarter of the 36
in total.
Okay, so we are looking to groups of 9 numbers but which nine numbers
do we look at? There are several ways you can approach this. Our first
recommendation is as follows; divide the table into 4 quarters, using
the zero as the starting point you have to imagine drawing a line
straight down from zero to between 5/10 and a similar line across from
22/9 to 34/6. You are splitting the table up like a pie into 4 pieces.
From 32 red you count along 9 numbers ending on 34 (European
roulette). Starting on the next number, 6 black, you do the same,
ending once again on 10 black. Next it would run 5 red to 9 red and
then 22 black to 26 black.
Going clockwise round, these are the number groups:
1st quarter 32, 15, 19, 4, 21, 2, 25, 17 and 34 2nd quarter 6, 27, 13,
36, 11, 30, 8, 23 and 10 3rd quarter 5, 24, 16, 33, 1, 20, 14, 31 and
9 4th quarter 22, 18, 29, 7, 28, 12, 35, 3 and 26
The idea is similar to some of the previous progression systems in
that you will be waiting for when one of the quarter segments has not
been hit for a set number of spins; in this case, our recommendation
is 12. This might sound like quite a high number but as talked about
in earlier parts, the fewer the numbers that are targeted, the longer
the wheel can go without hitting in that section.
Now we know the groups, we need to know the best way to record these
numbers so we can easily spot when a section has not been hit. The
best way to do this is to record the sections that the numbers fall
into. Say the previous 12 numbers were:
22, 9, 27, 8, 18, 28, 24, 1, 10, 26, 16 and 35
You would actually find it quite hard work to see if any section had
been missed looking at the numbers like this. You would have to work
it out mentally and this is not always easy when the wheel is already
being spun for the next round. If however you had made a note of the
sections in a separate column, then it would be much clearer:
4th, 3rd, 2nd, 2nd, 4th, 4th, 3rd, 3rd, 2nd, 4th, 3rd and 4th
This second string of results has recorded the section only and
ignored the actual number. As you can see it certainly makes it much
easier to work out if there is a betting opportunity. You will still
record the numbers in a normal fashion so as to keep an eye on other
progression system bets but keep that list separate.
Looking once again at the second string of records you can now easily
see that the first section has not been hit and as there are 12
previous spins here we are now eligible to start targeting the missed
section. As the segments are of our choosing we must place a bet on
each of the numbers individually rather than the convenience of just
one bet as with the section bets before. The following chart shows
what minimum stakes can be placed to generate a profit each round. The
chart also displays the stake as an amount per number rather than a
total stake:
Spin Stake Profit If Loses 1****('1)*('27)**(-'9) 2****('1)*('18)**
(-'18) 3****('1)*('9)***(-'27) 4****('2)*('27)**(-'45) 5****('2)*('9)
***(-'63) 6****('3)*('18)**(-'90) 7****('4)*('18)**(-'126) 8****('5)*
('9)***(-'171) 9****('7)*('18)**(-'234) 10***('9)*('9)***(-'315)
The above chart was created for those casinos/tables that have a
minimum bet of '1 per number. As you can see the overall total needed
to operate this chart is roughly the same as all the other charts and
the profits are quite consistent throughout, varying between '9 and
'27. The only way we lose using this chart is if our targeted area of
9 numbers does not hit for 22 spins.
As with earlier progression ideas we have created a second chart below
and this is one that reflects those casinos that have the seated
terminals linked to a 'live' table. Normally at these terminals you
can have minimum bets of 20p or 50p per number. In my own local
casinos this is the case. There are also plenty of online casinos that
will also allow you to place smaller bets so this second chart will
probably be more suitable. Also and most importantly with this second
chart we have tried to put in the incentive factor once more; your
profits going up the further you progress down the chart:
Spin *Stake **Profit ***If Loses 1****('0.20)*('5.40)**(-'1.80) 2****
('0.40)*('9.00)**(-'5.40) 3****('0.80)*('16.20)*(-'12.60) 4****('1.40)*
('25.20)*(-'25.20) 5****('2.20)*('34.20)*(-'45) 6****('3)****('36)***
(-'72) 7****('4)****('36)***(-'108) 8****('6)****('54)***(-'162) 9****
('8)****('54)***(-'234) 10***('11)***('63)***(-'333)
As you will see, the profits are steadily rising throughout, giving
you greater reward for progressing further along the chart. By
starting the sequence on a lower stake amount means that we can boost
the profit figures later on in the sequence and produce a far more
balanced look as regards the profits. This sequence runs for the same
amount of spins. This is actually my preferred chart to use for 9
number sequences.
Different Groups Of 9
I did say that there are many different ways to divide the wheel into
groups of 9 and this next one I like very much. The idea behind this
method is that your 9 numbers are spread evenly around the wheel; this
means that wherever the ball falls you will always have a great chance
of getting a hit. To get the first string of 9 numbers we again start
with number 32; this time we are going to count along 4 numbers; every
4th number will be a group number. So starting on 32 we would have 32,
21, 34, 36, 23, 16, 14, 18 and 12. Here are all the numbers:
1st Group 32, 21, 34, 36, 23, 16, 14, 18 and 12 2nd Group 15, 2, 6,
11, 10, 33, 31, 29 and 35 3rd Group 19, 25, 27, 30, 5, 1, 9, 7 and 3
4th Group 4, 17, 13, 8, 24, 20, 22, 28 and 26
As you can probably see, the numbers have ended up also being grouped
by their colour but the important thing here is that wherever the ball
falls it will never be more than 2 numbers away from any 1 of your
numbers. This will give you a great chance on every spin. For example,
if the croupier is having a dodgy spell and hitting just 1 half of the
wheel or just 1 segment of the wheel it means that you will always
have several numbers nearby and therefore a fair chance of success
while others might be missing out. Once again, any of the above
staking charts should be used. You should also wait for the same
amount of spins without a hit before betting.
In parts 5 and 6 we look to progression charts that target smaller
groups of numbers, from 6 numbers down to 1 number. We will also be
looking at other system ideas that don't use the standard progression
format.
