Gentlemen,

   The last two springs have been difficult for me on spare time.  I have struggled to coach, and find time to run the Fort Worth team.  I fix this issue, I am going to attempt to get everything organized in the fall, so hopefully there will be less on my plate in the spring.  With that said.  I need to know who is still looking to play with the Roughnecks in the spring?  I am looking for a commitment of one evening during the week, and a possible game on the weekend.  I don't feel this is a lot of time, but if it is too much for you let me know and I will get you removed from the email list.  I will also be collecting dues at the first of the year, I can not afford to support the team, as I have in the past.  Our dues will be no more than $150, far less than any other team in the area.  Through the fall I will seek sponsorship funds to off set the team costs, and any funds left at the end of the spring season will go to an end of season party.

  There are quite a few names on this email list, more than enough to field a team if we can get the commitment.  Please take the time to get back to me with whether or not you plan on playing with us in the spring.  This way I know how many guys I need to add to be ready for spring, knowing that not everyone will make every game.  We can always use more guys, so if you know of anyone who wants to play, please send them my info.  I will reach out to some of the coaches in the area to see if I can't add some younger guys with the proper attitude as well.  I should have the tentative schedule in mid January, so the coaches on this list will have that info as you make your schedules to help minimize conflicts.

   Also, I would like to start some fall practices if at all possible, along with some scrimmages against other North district teams.  My hopes is that the fall activity will carry momentum into the spring.  So please also let me know if you are free this fall to get a little stick work in, and play a few games as well.

   It is pretty difficult to put all of this together on my own, so if anyone has a little spare time to help me out that would be awesome.
