Weather depending, we will have our first practice of the season at Indian Springs Middle School, in Keller TX Thursday 7-?? This is not my first choice as far as fields, it is a natural surface, and with this rain may not work. Our usual home field is not available on Thursdays, it is available on Firdays but I dont think our turnout would be good on Friday. I am looking into other field options, but I don't want to wait anymore to get started. Let me know if you can make a Friday night practice, if we have enough positive responses I will get us the field at gateway. Still waiting on game schedule for games against North Dallas.
Also, I am trying to get us as many games as I can, so I am trying to organize a trip to Houston for us. So far, the best weekend for the teams in Houston is 5/4-5/5, let me know if you can make a trip to Houston on that weekend. We are talking about 4 games in two days, so I don't want to go down with 10-15 guys, I would rather be closer to 20-25, let's face it, we are not as young as we used to be.
I have heard some requests about changing the teams colors. Our current colors are Maroon and Yellow. If you would like to see the colors change, please respond with your color choices. I will compile a list of you guys submit, and we will put it to a vote. Keep in mind that new uniforms will take time to get in, so we will probably play some of this season with the old colors.
Also, we will be adding a couple of sponsors this season. We will be recieving support from Martin House Brewing (good beverages), and Lacrosse Unlimited.
