I saw the post on the old forum and thought I'd drop by. I was one of
the old forum regulars there and it's good to see that the fandom is
still alive and well.

Glad you could make it. I'm glad someone saw the link. Hopefully we
can get enough people here to keep the fandom alive for a very long
time.

Ok I have put this off for to long.

Allow me to introduce my self I am Luna, I came to the roughnecks
fandom about 7 years ago (I think). After getting the DVD's I stated
searching the web for related things. I now run a Fan Archive of the
old Roughnecks Rambling, have movies on YouTube I found on another
dead site, and am starting to put together an on line photo album with
all the images I have collected

On that note I should probably go ahead and introduce myself as well.
Most on the web call me Wolfblade, though there are some who have
created less polite terms of address. Of course, you may call me
Wolfblade, or Ben if you wish (this being my real name). I only
discovered Roughnecks a few months ago, but I've been a die hard fan
of Heinlen's book, and the show seem to do it justice more than the
movie (which was fun, but slaughtered Heinlein's masterpiece). The
show really grew on me, and I decided to see if there were any other
fans out there. Apparently there were, but most of the fans sites had
become ghost towns. That said I decided to create this group to give
fans out there a new place to congregate. And so here you are, reading
this post.

Good God, that was hilarious! Absolutly loved it. That really captured
the spirit of the movie. (I know that sounds dumb...) I've got a few
things in the works for that movie along a similar vein. I'll let you
know when they're complete. Again, thanks!
