I developed a small editor to manipulate vector bmps, but I quickly
became dissatisfied with the amount of UI work I was having to
reinvent in order to properly draft.

I instead chose to focus on creating a DXF conversion tool.

The source for both of these programs, the roughdraft library, and
some sample vector bmps will be made available shortly.

I am satisfied with the initial effort. As an added bonus the
resulting images add some artistic value to the source engineering
drawings.

I will also make available my presentation from the ICT Conference in
Singapore I contributed to recently. http://ict-conference.org

This should be all of the pieces required to start building vector
bmps outside of my dev machine.

The implementation is pretty limited right now, but with a little
interest and support I can definitely expand the functionality.

2 features planned, but not implemented: png support, 3D. Both are
possible, but without clear interest I cannot commit the time
investment.

It may be easier to port this code when using roughdraft as a static
lib. To do this add a new target to the makefile

roughdraft.a:
ar rcs libroughdraft.a *.o

Using this methodology, I was able to port the code to OS X.
