C API for RoughDraft

Hello all,

I am in the process of converting my Master's thesis work into an open
source library for public consumption.

This group will serve as the steering committee for its development.
My first goal is to package all of the knowledge gained from my
previous research into a C API.
The first release will contain the best of what I learned during my
thesis research and an additional research project
highlighted at this year's ICT conference. See http://www.ict-conference.org/,

My development platform will be a late model 2007 Macbook running
Fedora 13. Source and precompiled versions of this library will be
distributed, but initially only for this OS. Others to follow on a
need basis.

Any input on the direction of this project is greatly appreciated.
