Wiz:So then Gold's story began, Gold trained Cyndaquil and he evolved to Quilava and finally Typhlosion. His name is actually Exbo, Exbo knows various types of moves, like the first fire type move, Ember.
Wiz:Exbo was used to fight against Arceus, and used Blast Burn, but hardly did any damage. Exbo and Gold was connected to each other as Human and Pokemon, they share a great bond. Possibly even better than Red! And he is also quite the Strategist! This puts Exbo and Gold high above in Pokemon tiers.
Wiz:Jaden Yuki, who always skip class, and um yeah, Jaden is friendly, optimistic, kind, funny, and very passionate about dueling. Jaden loves Dueling and believes that all problems can ultimately be solved through it.
Wiz:Boomstick! Now is not the time! Anywho Neos, is a competent card being able to match Yugi. Jaden is very competent. He has many cards that can aid him into battle minus the ones that require other monsters.
Jaden smirked and slammed the card on his disk, as the card glows Neos appears right in front of him. Gold nods and takes out his pokeball and yells out, "Go! Exbo!". A echidna with flames on it's back emerges from the pokeball doing it's pokemon cry.
Gold then did the first attack yelling out, "Exbo, Use Flamethrower!" Neos then blocked the attack losing some of Jaden's life points. Neos then punched Exbo in the face causing it to stagger a little. "Hang in there! Use Flame Wheel!" Exbo surrounded himself in flames, and spinned at the opponent pushing Neos down, bringing down some of Jaden's life points. "Now Exbo use Flamethrower!" Exbo uses flamethrower on Neos' face as once again brings down his life points. Jaden then took out another card and placed it on his disk. "I'll use this then.. Draining Shield!" Neos was surrounded in a shield, as Gold yelled out the move Flamethrower again trying to hit Neos, but instead negating the attack and bringing up his life points. "W-what? What was that move?" Gold said in shock. Jaden then explained, "It's draining shield, a trap card that activates and negates your attack for life points." Gold then nodded to himself, "Use Double team!" Exbo made copies of himself, giving some time for Gold to strategize. "What the?" Neos tried to attack Exbo but instead kept missing. "Now Flamethrower!" it successfully hit Neos bringing down most of Jaden's life points once again. "Go for another Flamethrower!" the flaming hurl of flames goes for Neos, until he dodged rushing at Exbo punching him in the face, and then wrapping his arms around Exbo choking him. "Oh no! Exbo!" Gold said in a worried tone. Jaden then smirked, "Well, looks like your rat is stuck in a choke hold heh heh!" Gold then told Exbo to use Flame Wheel to break out, he obeyed his trainer and broke free, hitting Neos bringing Jaden's life points down again. "Good job Exbo! Now Double Team!" Exbo then created multiple clones of himself. "Now Flamethrower!" as Neos gets hit again decreasing Jaden's life points. 'Grr! Woah, he's good." Jaden then thought to himself, "I might have to bring in another trap card... but what, there's not much I can use." Neos rammed into Exbo, as he rolls onto the ground. "Exbo no! Alright, use flamethrower!" Exbo fired flames at Neos who dodged and punched Exbo's neck, Exbo was crying in pain."Now I now place a face down card." Exbo tried to use Flamethrower but Neos kicked Exbo to the ground as Shield Strike activates. Exbo was then on his knees gasping for air. Neos ended it with one last kick sending him towards Gold, as a 175 pound monster crushes his bones as Exbo is now confirmed to be dead with his pulse not beating.
Wiz: Well let's explain, while Gold has collected 16 gym badges. Jaden has fought god-like opponents and far superior duelists than what Gold faces. And this isn't even counting their full team and deck, Jaden's cards would outmatch Gold leaving him open for a kill.
Medals are in-game achievements Trainers earn for reaching certain gameplay milestones. A Trainer's medals are displayed on their profile page. When a Trainer earns a medal, an animated pop-up displays in the Map View, similar to the one when a Trainer levels up.
A Trainer's medals are split into two sections: general milestones and catching specific Pokmon types. Medals are first sorted in order of tier. Medals at the same tier are then usually sorted by the order in which the related mechanic was added to the game.
Most of these medals are initially hidden until the player begins progressing them towards the bronze tier. The following medals will always appear even if the player has made no progress on them: Jogger, Kanto, Collector, Scientist, Breeder, Backpacker, Battle Girl, Ace Trainer, Johto, Hoenn, Pokmon Ranger, Idol, Gentleman, Pilot, Best Buddy and Vivillon Collector.
When tapping on the Vivillon Collector medal, a special page for Vivillon pattern sub-medals is displayed. The page shows the Vivillon Collector medal with a counter, the Vivillon Map, and a sub-medal for each Vivillon pattern. Each Vivillon sub-medal can be increased when the Trainer pins in the Postcard Book, a Postcard from the pattern's region. When a sub-medal is unlocked or leveled up, the Trainer has an encounter with a Scatterbug from the respective pattern. Each sub-medal takes 3 Postcards to be unlocked, 9 Postcards to be updated the first time, and 15 Postcards to be updated afterwards. When a Vivillon sub-medal is unlocked, it receives a golden circle and the Vivillon Collector medal is increased.
The second section displays medals for catching Pokmon with different types. Each medal corresponds to a specific type. Catching a dual-type Pokmon contributes progress towards both medals of the Pokmon's two types.
Earning a new tier for a type's medal increases the Trainer's capture rate for Pokmon of that type by 10%. If a Pokmon has two types, the game will average the catch bonus trainer has for those two types.
The Pokmon type medals grant the Trainer with a catch bonus. Earning a new tier for a type's medal increases the Trainer's capture rate for Pokmon of that type by 10%. If a Pokmon has two types, the game will average the catch bonus trainer has for those two types.
Some medals for general actions grant trainers having them with special avatar items themed for each name of medal. Achieving higher tier of each medal unlocks more purchasable clothing for trainers. Jogger and Fisher unlock only-male avatar clothes when Battle Girl unlocks only-female avatar clothes, therefore depending on which gender of avatar is currently chosen these wardrobe pieces are displayed in rewards section of medal in its detail view. Thus, if avatar is male there are no rewards for Battle Girl medal and if avatar is female there are no displayed rewards for Fisher nor Jogger medals.
Hey as title says, why does silver have generally a lot more people more posts in the trade section then gold? Is gold clnsidered the dying server? Will we ever have a merge to just one server? Silver has legit 21k posts of pokemon to sell/trade/auction and when i look at gold barely anyone sells etc lets just face facts gold server is dying, on top of that it always goes down barely monitored by admins, jut a couple days ago there were many trollers, racists spamming the n word for almost a hour straight and didnt get banned until we asked discord. Sooner or later everyone will go to silver why not just merge everything and have one supermassive server. Hell its better than you devs managing two servers and making your life a living hell no? Just a suggestion
You've been playing for a month and you make a post about servers dying. Silver has more players and more active pvp, ofcourse they have a more active economy. Also, I think I'm correct when I say 1 server cant support the amount of players who play PRO. What should be done however is allow server transfers, but not for gold. Just allow some people from silver to transfer if they'd like to. To balance out the amount of players per server.
About the server going down, most of the time is just a small crash that last from 1 minute to 5 and that happen on both Gold & Silver servers. If the offline time last longer is due to maintenance, but that's something that happen on both the servers.
But, obviously, not all trainers are worth battling. So I made this custom money run in the section below to help players efficiently farm money from trainer rematches in a reasonable amount of time. Money totals have been rounded up/down for a cleaner look and easier maths. Hope you enjoy!
Castelia City
Fly to Castelia and head down the street right of the pokemon center. In the next area you'll see a big black building on the right. This is the GameFREAK building. Go inside and take the elevator up to the 22nd floor. Fight GameFREAK Morimoto here.
(NOTE THAT MORIMOTO HAS AN 18 HOUR COOLDOWN, NOT 6)
Route 9
Next fly to Opelucid City and head west into Route 9. Enter the big shopping mall and fight a Rich Boy on the 2nd floor and a Lady on the top floor here.
Route 10
Once you exit the mall, fly back to Opilucid and this time go right of the pokemon center and then north into Route 10. Fight 2 Ace Trainers and 2 Veteran trainers here.
Route 13
Next fly to Undella Town. (this area is only available after defeating Unova E4)
Head north into Route 13 and fight a Socialite and a Gentleman here.
Note: In addition to these trainers, it's also profitable to fight the Ace Trainers, Veterans, Scientists, and PKMN Rangers you find. Such as in Challenger's Cave, Chargestone Cave, Dreamyard, forest areas, and Victory Road. I didn't add them in here because I'm not sure if anyone wants to run through caves and such. I'll add them in if enough people ask me too :)
Thank you! I'll try to work on some screenshots in the near future. And I do have a specific route I take for my money runs, but I don't have it typed up yet. I've just had it memorized, but I'll add it later as well. Thank you for your suggestions!
