First thing i did coming back home after watching the movie was to open your blog and see if you have written about Mayakkam enna, and i have been checking your blog twice a day to since and finally you have written on the movie.
Thanks for your thoughts on the movie.
Selvaraghavan's Mayakkam Enna, starring Dhanush and Richa Gangopadhyay, is likely to be remade in Telugu soon. Mayakkam Enna is a movie on the youth of the next generation and their problems. Selva also revealed that Irandaam Ulagam, starring Arya and Anushka, is a different film and will go on floors this December. Asked what is new in the story, Selva said that the story being that of the next generation is in itself something new! He further went on to say that Mayakkam Enna is not a love story, but a story which also has love in it, and that he wouldn't want to classify the audience as Class A, B, or C, as the movie will be for everybody. The shooting for most of the movie has been completed around locations in Kerala, Chennai, Coimbatore and a few other places in Tamil Nadu. The most interesting aspect of Mayakkam Enna is that Selvaraghavan has showcased a new facet of himself in this movie. Of the four songs in the movie, Selva has written two and Dhanush has written the other two. Selva revealed that writing lyrics was a new and exhilarating experience for him. The music for the movie has been scored by G.V. Prakash Kumar, who worked with Selva in Aayirathil Oruvan.
