Want to volunteer a few minutes?

Hi guys,

I know you are all busy finishing papers and trying to find jobs, but I was wondering if I could get you all to take like 5-10 minute breaks in between things to help me and PresenTense out with something. It really just involves sending out emails and making phone calls, possibly, so not really something you need to go anywhere for. 

This is what we are trying to do:

Starting this next year PresenTense will be opening 3 new year long fellowship programs (we call them CEP's and they are 5 months long)- Tel Aviv, New York, and Philadelphia and we plan to maintain the two we already have in Jerusalem and Boston. As I hopefully have explained to you guys in the past, besides being a great program for the fellows to learn a lot from, we also partner the fellows with the organized Jewish community organizations like the Federations, JCC's, the JOINT, the Jewish Agency, etc. for funding their ventures and their participation and for providing other resources such as advise, guidance, and more. PresenTense also offers that the organizations send "intrapreneurs," people who work within the organization who have ideas to launch new projects of the organization (so maybe you are someone already working for an organization that could be sent). 

We are looking for your help in reaching out to the organizations, mostly in Israel, but we will take any in the world, to team up with for the American programs. If you have any contacts or relationships with people at these types of organizations (not just Jewish anything to do with Israel or Judaism) and think even for the slightest minute that the organization may be interested in partnering, let us know. All it involves is you sending an initial email letting them know we will be in touch, and then we will take it from there.

Your request was too general to act on. MAybe it would be more concrete if you let us know the projects and felows them maybe we could target to groups interested in their field of endeavor.

 

Or are these for new fellows that we do nt know their interests yet?

These are for new fellows. These are to partner with organizations and we will find fellows who have projects based on the organizations interests. 

Sorry it is so general, let me know any specific questions you may have and I will be more then happy to answer.
