So, after our short meeting, we have some updates:
  • Make it simple!
    • TD processes: done, by Lala
    • Competencies development framework: in progress, by Andre. He will finish it asap.
    • TD education cycle: Costi found some materials on the platform. He will send them on the group and after our feedback, he will develop a TD education cycle.
    • MEC: done, by Mada
  • Recruitment profiles:
    • CD: done, by Lala
    • TD: done, by Andre
    • Comm: done, by Andre
    • AD: in progress, by Irina
    • NCD: in progress, by Costi
    • II: ?, we need updates from Mada
    • Finance: ?, we need updates from Mada
  • Irina is not on the VPs group. Didi, can you add her to the group so she can send the EwA needs assessment?

Hey, guys!!

I was checking first the Profiles that Andre and Lala sent. They are thought in a different manner from what I see. I understood it in the same way as Lala, so I followed her example, of adding a separate section for the NCD profile. It's with things that are mostly preferred, or the things that would reccomend a person for this area.

Lala & Didi, maybe you see there any idea that can be also added to our Big Hairy Recruitment Tool. I can also give you the contacts of the NST Recruitment from there, as she's a very good friend of mine.

Now, about the MEC. I knew that we are somehow reinventing the wheel, as there are things already happening and, in the same time, MEC tools already working in the network. So, I checked for it and found two that I really like (as they are quite detailed): Finland (in attachement) and Turkey (http://issuu.com/selcan/docs/mec_tool/22 - for TD at least is excellent made). 

So, should we start working from these? We wanted just a frame for the future? Or somehow to add what was done during the term from national level on each area in order to be continued??

Yep, that makes more sense so I created my profiles again, they're attached. How are we going to make sure that people are using the MEC, by the way? :)

Thank you for the materials! :) I downloaded them and afterwards I will give you feedback if necessary. 

About the MEC and the usage in the country, VPs are going to create a new one starting their term and we offered them an example of MEC and they can customize it for each LC reality. If they do not want to use it, it's going to be their decision, but each VP TD should have a MEC for their LC.:)

The wiki for the recruitments is great. I really love it. It could be a great idea to do something like that for our own recruitments. We have updates on our wiki, but it's not that user friendly. You can see our wiki here: http://www.myaiesec.net/content/viewwiki.do?contentid=10220652.


And about the MEC, you might be surprised of how many LCs are delivering random preparations for members. There are 2-3 LCs that don't even have a MEC. :) They are respecting the Inductions and conferences from the MEC, but not the plan and the flow for area preparation. 

And yes, Costi, you can start working from those exemples because they are ok and logical. If you need help or something else, feel free to call/email me whenever. :)
