Following is the mail received from Rotary International:
 
Sent: Thursday, May 22, 2008
Subject: Change in RI Rate - June 08
Greetings from Rotary International South Asia Office!
 
We are to inform you that w.e.f. 01 June 2008, RI World
Headquarters has revised the exchange rate from
US $ 1= INR 40.00 to US $ 1= INR 42.00.
 
This rate would remain effective till further notification.
The exchange rate is applicable for all payments to Rotary
International South Asia Office and contributions to Rotary
Foundation (India).

 

You are requested to please inform the Clubs and Rotarians in
your district at the earliest.

 

You are also requested to note that RI rate applicable is
dependent on the date of receipt of Cheque/draft in Rotary
International South Asia Office and not on the date of
preparation of Cheque/draft or date of dispatch.
 
DON'T miss the opportunity.... send your contributions on or before
30th May @ $ 1 = INR 40.00 and SAVE...

Rotarians of Dist 3291 are encouraged to get into Matching Grant
projects for enhancing their community service scope. New MG forms
are now downloadable at

or from the new District 3291 Website

These can be saved in your computer both before and after filling in.
The only difference in the new form is the addition of signature of District
Governor besides DRFC Chair for projects involving DDF.  New applications
can be submitted to TRF on and from 1st July 2008.
