Rotary celebration

Dear Rotary buddies,

 

After hearing from everyone I have set the date for our celebration for Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 7:30 PM. We have one member who cannot make it.  Although I very much regret that Jerry cannot join us that night, the fact of the matter is that a delay until September poses other problems and does not guarantee that we can achieve perfect attendance then either. I, for one, will be busier evenings with more Town related meetings, and I heard from another member that things get busier for him in the Fall as well.

I went ahead and reserved a section of Savino's Restaurant in Cushing Square for 7:30. We can schmooze and snack until Phil joins us at 8.

I hope that this is agreeable to all.  If members still feel strongly about waiting until the Fall I would kindly like to delegate the task of getting everyone together to make the event to someone else.

Otherwise, I look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday.  Bring your stories as well as your appetite. I promise that if I take notes to give to the historical society I will censor anything "too colorful" that gets said over the course of the evening!
