UNEXPECTED SITUATION

Greetings, how are doing today? I don't know if you're aware that am presently in United Kingdom (UK) for Vacation Trip, I was robbed of my cash, phones and credit cards last night but i thank God no lives were lost. It was a scary experience out there, I never wish my enemy to witness such a terrible experience in life.
I need you to lend me some money, about $2,450, or whatever you can afford. I need the money to settle bills here and get back home. I assure you that i'll refund the money immediately am home next tomorrow.

Please do not respond.  This email is a scam that has been circulating the Internet for several years.  (it doesn't even sound like something Sandy would write...)

Sandy may have lost control of her email account, but I'm sure we'll hear from her eventually.

In my experience it usually happens when the person IS away and unsuspecting.

I'm glad someone told me it was a scam!  I was just about to send $50,000 to my friend Sandy!!!!  Whew.....that was close!  LOL  Miss you all and miss our Tuesday mornings together.  Be well.

Hello Everyone,

It's amazing how these scammers pop up everywhere. I'm sure the money would ultimately be sent to Nigeria.

Anyway, I hope everyone is well. The party at Sandy's sounds great! Too bad I am in Florida. I escaped Boston just before the snow dumping began. I moved to Delray Beach. I could no longer take the winters. If there are any snowbirds in the group, let me know if you are in the area next winter.

I miss you guys and our entertaining meetings.
