Dear fellow Rotarians,
I’m reaching out to you today, as I understand the Belmont Rotary Club recently made the difficult decision to disband. Naturally I was saddened to hear of this news.
As your neighbor and new Arlington Rotary Club president, I wanted to offer an open invitation to visit our club, learn more about our work and contributions within the local community. These contributions include support of many great local organizations such as the Arlington Boys & Girls Club, Fidelity House, Visiting Nurses and The Children’s Room to name a few. Our service to the community also includes many local projects, such as the revival of a local monument, and assistance to the local food pantry. I’m also proud to say this year we are celebrating 90 years of service.
We are a small, friendly breakfast club of 26 members that meets every Wednesday at 7:30 at the American Legion club located at 370 Mass Ave, Arlington.
Please feel free to contact me at 617-407-7411 anytime at your convenience and I look forward to your visit in the near future. We at the Arlington club would also like to extend an offer of assistance in developing ideas to help bring Rotary back to Belmont.
Best Regards,
Anthony Carson
Arlington Club President 2014-2015
