The farewell dinner for the members and guests of the Rotary Club of Belmont will be held next Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 6:30PM at the Chateau Restaurant, 195 School Street, Waltham, MA.  I have reserved the private Wine Room for our festivities.  You will be able to choose one of three entrees, Chicken Parmigiana and penne, Broiled Schod with rice florentine and veggie or Sauted Penne Giardiniara (penne with veggies) and Cannolli for dessert. Some nibbles beforehand with some wine.   No need to choose now, choose at the restaurant.  I guaranteed them 15 people so if people who have already committed to come and bring a guest don't come, we still need to pay for them which I'm certain will upset our esteemed Treasurer Jerry!  So, all of our members have previously indicated they can come and have marked their schedule accordingly so I don't want to hear any excuses in that regard!  LOL  Bring yourselves, some memories and stories to share and take this final official opportunity to celebrate our time with Rotary, the good times and friendships we've all developed along the way and the fantastic good we did on a local, national and worldwide level in the betterment of mankind and the world.  Congratulations to us all!  See you all next Wednesday, September 3rd.  Until then, be well.
