Rotary Club of Pondicherry Central’s one of its eye camp at Avanipur Village, near Tindivanam on Saturday the 2nd November.
Done in association with Arvind Eye Hospitals, all expenses, and arrangements taken care of by our Rtn Peter S J, the medical team screens the patients, and segregated into prescription and surgery cases. For glass prescription cases, the glasses are made on the spot and issued! For complicated powers, the glasses are made later at the hospital, and home delivered to the patients!
Surgery cases are tagged, provided with lunch, taken to the hospital, performed surgery, and brought back and dropped at the same venue!
One month later, same team visits the same venue, for review! This is one its kind camp, where everything is at the door step.
