survey about the new Rotary grant model in March. Key findings from the survey include: - 96 percent of district leaders surveyed supported the
Future Vision Plan.
- Approximately 80 percent reported that they have received sufficient training on the new sustainability requirements;
however, 35 percent of this group indicated that it will be difficult to implement these requirements within their districts.
- 89 percent
indicated that they are likely to maintain or increase their contributions to The Rotary Foundation in the future.

| Trustee decisions | At their April meeting, the Trustees took the following decisions:
- Global grant scholars are no longer required to reside in their host districts.
- Rotary’s partnership contract with Aga Khan University, which expires at the end of June, will be
renewed, and Rotary will expand its relationship with the university. The contract with Oikocredit, also set to expire in June, will not be renewed.
Packaged grant activities with Oikocredit that have been approved by June 2013 will continue to be implemented and supported for the duration of the
grant.
- Additions to existing buildings are no longer an eligible expense for district and global grants. This decision was taken in response
to repeated instances in which funds that were approved for additions were instead used for new construction projects, a violation of Trustee policy.
Renovations of existing structures remain eligible.
- The RI/USAID International H2O Collaboration will continue.
- A large water project
in Honduras was approved. This is the second project grant of more than US$100,000 that has been approved during the Future Vision
pilot.
