Deadline reminder for pilot global grant applications
Pilot districts that have started global grant applications in the online pilot application system should complete and submit them no later than 15 May to ensure sufficient time for review. Applications that are not approved by 30 June will need to be resubmitted through the new online system.

Yunus receives congressional medal
Professor Muhammad Yunus, founder of the Grameen Bank, was awarded the United States’ Congressional Gold Medal for his lifetime achievements in alleviating poverty in Bangladesh and beyond. Yunus received the honor in Washington, D.C., on 17 April.
