Have you given a PechaKucha, Lightning Talk, or Ignite presentation?
Then maybe you can be a panelist in the Energize your Presentations breakout session at the 2013 RI Convention in
Lisbon, Portugal! If you are a registered attendee, create a video giving a fast-paced presentation, in any of these styles, sharing your passion for
Rotary. The presentation should be in English and no more than seven minutes.
Upload you video to YouTube or Vimeo, and then send
the link to le...@rotary.org. Also in your email, please include your full name, contact information, and Rotary
affiliation. We will review all entries submitted to us by 27 May at 23:59 (CDT) and select the most dynamic and focused
presentations for the breakout session. It's a chance to share your passion in your own voice at Rotary's biggest event!

| Build
your skills at RI Convention breakout sessions |
Rotarians from all over the world will be attending the RI Convention in Lisbon, Portugal, 23-26 June. The convention is a great way to network with fellow Rotarians and find out what clubs are doing around the
globe. Register online through Member Access by 15 June.
If you’ll be at the convention, plan to attend some of the sessions offered
Monday through Wednesday, including The Amazing Power of Story, Presentation Skills and Techniques, Webinars: You Can Do It!, and Workshop for
Incoming Club Presidents.
If this is your first Rotary convention, consider attending one of the two orientation sessions for first-time
attendees on Saturday, 22 June.

convention? You will meet a lot of fascinating and talented Rotarians from all over the world. Consider inviting them to share their ideas and
experiences with your club. There are many web-based methods your club can use, like ooVoo,
FaceTime, and Skype, that make it possible to convene meetings from anywhere in the world. Consider using video calling for:
- Talks by
guest speakers or expert presentations at club meetings
- A live
meeting with a service project partner
- Club meeting participation by
members who are traveling
