Fellow Rotarians
Yesterday’s beach cleanup was a huge success in Kenya and the count is still coming in but we estimate over 20,000kg (20 tonnes) of plastic and other marine waste has been removed from our beaches.
Attached are a few pictures from Watamu
Congratulations to everyone who took part and together we made a difference and helped save thousands of marine animals from plastic pollution and clean our oceans, rivers and lakes
Have a great Sunday
Steve
