Dear Interact club sponsors and advisers,
Thank you for your work supporting young leaders and creating meaningful Interact experiences! Below are Rotary International (RI) updates on important administrative reminders and upcoming opportunities for your Interact club before the end of your term and the Rotary year on 30 June. | Take administrative action for your clubs |
| |
|
|
Remember to report an adviser. Interact club sponsors are required to report the name and contact information of an adult adviser to Rotary every year to maintain the active status of their Interact clubs. Even if the same adviser is continuing for next year, their role needs to be reported by 1 July. Reporting these roles allows advisers to receive important communications from RI. Use the Interact club adviser online reporting form to keep your Interact club current. |

| Youth protection reporting form updated |
| As a reminder, it is the responsibility of all Rotary members and non-member volunteers to report any serious incidents involving youth program participants to RI within 72 hours. Last month, RI introduced a new and improved form that makes reporting more efficient and intuitive. Click the button below to view the updated form and report a concern. |

| Celebrate your Interact club's accomplishments |
| Rotary International recognizes Interact clubs taking action to make a positive difference. Nominate your club for the Club Excellence Award. Remind your Interact club sponsors and advisers to nominate qualifying Interact clubs no later than 15 August for work in the previous Rotary year. For any questions regarding the process, please email riaw...@rotary.org. |

The Interact Handbook: A Guide for Interact Sponsors and Advisers guides sponsors and advisers through starting and sustaining an Interact club, with expanded sections on responsibilities of adult volunteers and how to work with young people. The guide provides more tips on developing safe, inclusive, and meaningful service-learning and global understanding opportunities for young leaders. Share this resource with sponsors and advisers to enhance their service to Interact clubs! |

| This year, over 400 Interact clubs across the world submitted videos, photos, and essays showcasing their favorite service project from start to finish. |

Watch the video "Best Video" in the 2024 Interact Awards! Submitted by the Interact Club of Khensani's Collection to learn how they have transformed their community by repurposing 40 tons of plastic waste into 70,000 ecobricks to build structures at a local school. The theme for the 2025 Interact Awards will be announced this September! |
