Dear Caloy

hindi ka nagiisa, kami rin dito sa creekside ng BF homes (lopez part of bf homes) hindi pinatawad. The tubig-baha is about a foot deep inside our house. This is the second time it happened. The first time was when Ondoy visited metro-manila in 09/2009.

Shortly after midnight today, pumasok ulit pro hanggang garahe lang si tubig-baha. Kaya lang as of this writing, the creek is about to overflow again. if the rains wont stop, its likely papasok ulit si tubig-baha. Sana di na.

you're right, our kababayans need our help, especially those whose homes and wordly possession were washed away and are now in evac centers. Thus, I support your call to contribute whatever we can share in alleviating the sufferings of our kababayans. So, please email me the bank account info of the point person who will receive cash donations from rotarians / rotary clubs.

Regards to all

Tony

Dear Classmates, Global Presidents.

Hope you are all well and enjoying the comfort of your home.

Here are photos of me and the floods that is going on in our area now in Malate, Manila.
The flood waters has reached 10 inches deep inside our house. Pls. pray that rains will stop already.
Some areas are already waist deep and even higher than that.

I guess like typhoon Ondoy, the waters released from the 4 dams aggravated the whole thing.
The good thing about it is that Pia and I also share the experience of many of countrymen today. This is actually even better than those in evacuation centers, those who are presently submerged and waiting for relief goods, those who are sick because of the weather, etc etc.

see you all on August 27 at Nuvo Resto Bar for our monthly fellowship.

In the meantime, GP Mayette and GP Helen are campaigning for relief goods for severely-affected families in paranaque. Hope those who are capable and willing, please support this cause and/or the cause of your clubs and our district.

Those with limited mobility and resource, please continue to pray with us for our fellow Filipinos who are suffering right now.

All the best. God bless. Take care.

Caloy
PS--it's now down to 3 inches inside the house as of 630pm.
