Dear Assistant Governors,

This is further to the meeting we all had and subsequent discussions. As suggested by you all, I wish to propose a project which will support our District Priority Project, PARIVARTAN in the Cochin Region. Through this project each club can give items like Computers, LCD Projector, Water Filters, Desk & Tables, Library Books, Sports Items, Sound System and Sanitary Vending Machines with Incinerator (for girls schools) to one/two schools in their area (to be identified by each club) based on the needs of the school. The worth of items each club can give will be around Rs.90,000/-. If any club wants to give items for more than this amount, the club can put in 2/3rd of the additional amount they need (also add 5% to this for processing charges) so that the club will get a 50% matching.

We could collectively prepare a proposal for this with the help of AG Damodarji, as suggested by District Director, Rtn.Algiers Khalid. Before that please get project proposals from your clubs based on the costing of items to be given to the identified school/schools (all items are listed above). We need to procure the best quotes for the items listed above.

Please request your clubs to prepare a project proposal for the above project with costing. This is to be initiated immediately - it should be ready by 2nd Dec., 2016. There is a TRF Review Meeting at Coimbatore on 3rd Dec, 2016 and I wish to announce the project there.
