| The 2018 Rotary Convention connects leaders from around the world |
Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, alumni, and leaders gathered at Rotary’s biggest event of the year, Rotary International Convention. The 2018 event in Toronto featured world-class speakers, innovative workshops, and opportunities to make new friends.
Discover this year’s highlights:
- Champions of Rotary Youth Exchange shared best practices, inspiring stories, and new strategies to build successful programs around the world at the Youth Exchange Officers Preconvention.
- Rotary President-elect Barry Rassin showed how Youth Exchange leaders, students, and alumni can Be the Inspiration. During his speech he said, "Young people in Rotary programs around the world are having a great time but they're also learning something, and they're realizing their life is changing through their experience."
- The audience was inspired by former Prime Minister of New Zealand Helen Clark, learned about Canada’s commitment to end polio from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and heard from Rotary President Ian Riseley on how we can make a difference in our communities.
