Topic
In accordance with the Right to Education Act, 25% reservation for poor students in private schools, is the correct way to address the problem of improving education in our country.
Background
This issue has been debated across the country & has gone up to the Supreme court. The best minds seem to have completely opposing views on this topic. On the one hand, it appears commonsensical to state that the 'haves' must share with the 'have-nots' . Sharing of the best resources of the private sector schools will greatly assist the country in providing high quality education to needy millions.
However, the opposing view is that this is the wrong way to address the problem. Overburdened private schools will now have a drop in quality. Instead, the focus should be on improving quality of the Government schools.
Who is correct ?
Watch the battle of wits for yourself this Saturday !!
