Dear Friends,

 

Union budget, propose to amend Section 80D. i.e Deduction on account of Health insurence premium paid.;

 

Now as per the proposed  amendment  for a very senion citizen i.e. 80 years of age or more   can claim exepnditure on health without insurence, upto 30,000/- irrespective of ailments, no certification and no  prescription is required. However proof of medical expenditure is required.
