Subject: computer syllabus for balkalyan kids
§ Knowing how to power on the computer
§ how to use a mouse/touchpad to interact with elements on the screen
§ how to use the computer keyboard
§ how to shut down the computer properly after use
§ How to open and close multimedia files like videos, pictures, songs etc.
§ Navigating a computer's file system
§ How to install softwares. (like next-next-finish types)
MS word
How to open files, edit them, save them
How to put content as per use and various fonts styles, sizes, how to use it effectively.
How to print word documents.
Optional
MS excel and powerpoint would be a little complex to teach. Depending on the skill sets of individual we can take a call on whether to proceed with excel and powerpoint or not.
Also I feel we should teach how to use internet and email.
Basic things in internet like google, what are the benefits, opening up email accounts and sending/checking e-mails (we can take a call on this at a later date)
