Hi all,

I recently found this group of high quality people.
Where are you gone, leaving it to spam ?

I am a member of AMORC studying the 2nd degree.
I read Max Heindel and Rudolf Steiner for years and find all this
wonderful.

Please come back in discussing.

This particular forum is more like a tabloid, and an opportunity to
put a virtual "kick me" sign on Gary Stewart for a few amazingly
bitter individuals.
There are more active R+C forums elsewhere.

All it takes is a few monitors to actually report the spam. Mail
Order Mysticism, as promulgated by ANORG and Rosicrucian Fellowship IS
spam of the mystical spheres. No one can own an IDEAL, and anyone who
charges you for it, well..

Tell me two things that you have found to be incorrect in each system.

I agree that the mailing system has its shortcomings like building a
partisan identity,
and favoring intellectual laziness. But it has also qualities like
better accessibility,
good testified quality and small but steady progress.
Also its shortcoming can be overcome by reading, and culture building.

It also takes a certain degree of uncertainty and openness to protect
freedom.

For instance before AMORC I firs joined the Rosicrucian Fellowship,
and received mailings, but as a difference to
AMORC there was a supervisor to the teachings which were very
emotional and personal.
I very much liked those.

But at some point I asked my advisor a non-standard question, and as a
result they dropped me.
I have never received communications again, even I paid dues and got
not a single response.
So this was very disappointing, not of Max Heindel of course, but of
its followers.

For Rudolf Steiner now, I consider him like a prophet, an a real
Illuminated.
But its mystical organization is in Switzerland and Germany, and they
teach in German.
And bizarre enough, the organization in the US, sends monograph
equivalents just to the US.
And I live now in Canada.

So kind of very poor organization, on each of these societies compared
to AMORC.
And of course, AMORC does not have Teachers but has a good quality
School.
The others have Teachers but no real School.
